Is this a faded female Lulworth Skipper? Tout Quarry Portland. 15/7/2019

looks like one to me. The only other option (based on the antennae) is Small Skipper but it looks to dark for that :)

Thanks. I was hoping it was a Lulworth. I have photographed other individuals and would value your opinion on them.

The second image is a male Lulworth, all the others are Small Skippers.

The duller ground colour. They darken quite a bit with age. Fresh animals are a little bit more difficult unless you get a good look. Lulworths have a distinct pattern on the upperside, more prominent in the females.

Thanks for that. It was quite tiny and I understand they are smaller than Small/Essex?
