You can get Dark Green Fritillary at the following sites; Ross Links NU 142 375 (Long walk) park at NU131 369, Newton Links NU 230 266 (Not too far) park at NU 235 260. They are moving north, yesterday 2 in N Yorkshire at Aislaby near Whitby and in Cleveland 1 at Guisborough, us northern folks might get to see them yet!!!!

White-letter Hairstreak

Today I found a White-letter Hairstreak in Northumberland Park, Tynemouth, Northumberland. I'm posting the sighting as its a new species to me and I'm not sure if its rare or even supposed to be up here. I did get pictures but it was always high so the shots are not great.
