Queen of Spain Fritillary

Saw this on Birdguides


On the Isles of Scilly a Queen of Spain Fritillary butterfly at Trenoweth Horticultural Centre on St. Mary's; also Clouded Yellow, Painted Lady and Hummingbird Hawk-moth all there also

Martin said in his note "I was lucky enough to find this Queen of Spain Fritillary yesterday at Trenoweth Horticultural Centre. St Mary's Isles of Scilly. To my knowledge it represents the first record for Scilly. Its occurrence ties in with huge numbers of Clouded Yellows and Painted Ladies".
