rain coming

Hi,

Just a word of warning. From the 25th March to the 1st April, it looks like heavy rain, with some light snow and heavy sleet if you're in my area - Lancs.

Just thought you might like to know.

Cheers,

Holtspur valley reserve

Is there anyone out there who's been to Holtspur (nr Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire), and if so, is the area i've highlighted on the picture, the right area - i cant seem to find where exactly it is.

Thanks.

Nick.

Is anyone able to tell me how to identify which sex a certain skipper is, especially the orange types (e.g. small, essex, large).

cheers.

South-East cumbria 14th June 08

A Visit to Barkbooth lot, Latterbarrow, Meathop moss and Whitbarrow NNR yesterday was excellent. It was just as good as last year. Whitbarrow is definitely my favourite Butterfly site yet, i'd recommend it to anyone.

Pictures and report are on my Blog:
