2011 Photography Workshop

Post by Pete Eeles »

Thanks to Gary for, once again, sorting the logistics out for next year's photo workshop:

For those of you that have attended previous workshops, if you could please suggest any amendments to keep it "fresh" for those that attend every year I'd appreciate it.

Cheers,

- Pete

Any chance of a lift from Portsmouth or Southampton for the photography workshop on 30 April? I live on the IOW and would prefer not to take my car for the day for various reasons. :?:

Hi Ian,

I am going again this year, so if you're still in need of a lift I could pick you up from Portsmouth Harbour like last year.

That would be great. The catamaran from Ryde gets in at about 8.10. Is that okay? Best wishes

That will give us stacks of time...you could get there half an hour later if you wanted to... If not we'll just take our time and have a 'bit of getting lost time' in the equation :)

The next catamaran gets in an hour later- that will be a bit tight I think. I can meet you at the Hard at say 8.45 after a coffee on the station. Whatever you think is best.

Given the traffic this weekend it wouldn't be a bad thing to get in and out of Portsmouth early. I'll be there for 8:10 when the catamaran comes in. See you then :)

Agreed Susie, a thoroughly enjoyable day :D

Once again, I learnt a bit, visited a lovely site, saw a lot (2 year firsts and 1 life tick) and met some lovely people. (That was Small Heath, Brown Argus and Marsh Fritillary).

Thanks to Pete, Gary, Lisa and all the speakers.

Cheers

Lee
