My small garden

Post by felix123 »

I have a small garden in the town of Lyme Regis which I would like to know what plants to grow. Some food plants for the butterflies and also any flowers to attract them. I have already got buddlea, verbena, blue bells a few daffodils and I am growing echinacea and scabiosa in my propagator which is good so If any one could tell me thant would be great...OH and I forgot to tell you that I have alkaline soil the hydrangea told me. :D

Thanks,
Felix

Just for starters I'd go for garlic mustard, sweet rocket and honesty for springtime. Unfortunately they are all biennial but you may be able to beg, borrow or steal some from somewhere so you get flowers this year.
