north west?
north west?
is anyone else from the north west? i am based in bckershaw near wigan and would like to hear from anyone else from the local area also any nice spots you might know around here

I don't know about the immediate area (I'm in Stafford), but just up the M6 in the Lakes, you will find some of the best sites in the country. Arnside Knott for Scotch Argus, High Brown Frit and Northeren Brown Argus; Meathrop Moss for Large Heath; Witherslack for HBF,DGF,SPBF and PBF; Irton Fell, in the Western Lakes is one of the most reliable and accessible sites in the UK for Mountain Ringlet. I shall certainly be up there a few times next year and would be happy to meet up if you wish.
