Four butterflies from a day trip to the Wye Valley in Derbyshire with the Royal Photographic Society Nature Group recently...

Nice pictures. I particularly like the first picture of the Female Holly Blue with its wings open ~ a high standard shot to my eyes.

One final thought ~ is there a Wye Valley in Derbyshire?

They are very clear shots and make me look. Nice done. SHows some skill there. :)

There sure is. The River Wye rises in Buxton and flows east via magnificent gorge scenery and limestone dales to reach the River Derwent at Rowsley.
