New Book - Butterflies of Surrey

Post by Pete Eeles »

Another new book - "Butterflies of Surrey" and more essential reading, even if you don't live in Surrey.

Review at http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/reports_willmott.php

Cheers,

I agree with Peter, an excellent book especially if you live in Surrey or adjoining counties with descriptions of the best sites as well as extensive coverage of species seen in the vice county in the last dozen years.

This is a superb book. I grew up in Surrey and although no longer living there this is a wonderful guide to butterflies of that county. I would recommend it to anyone wherever they lived. The detail of the information is impressive, the book is hardback, very well-bound with a dust jacket and the paper is of high quality.

Of course it's a brilliant book, I just started recording butterflies in time for some of the little dots to be my little dots, so it's nice to know that I have contributed a fly speck to scientific research 8)
