Mill Hill Shoreham

Hi there,I'm trying to see and photograph as many butterflies I can.I will be in Mill Hill on Saturday,What species would I expect to find at this time and where should i look for in Mill Hill?
Any information will be very helpful.

Hi edgueinart,
At the moment you will find Dingy Skipper, Grizzled Skipper, Green Hairstreak, Wall and Small Heath (plus some commoner species), although by the weekend it might be possible to find Common Blue and Brown Argus. Go to the far end of the base of the slope just above the scrub-line for highest numbers. Also check the glades between the mature scrub to the north of the upper car park - Green Hairstreak was common here last year, although numbers are yet to build.
