The female OTs have been more obliging for me so far :D .The males seem to be too busy to have their photos taken at the moment. :x :)
Hopefully this will change coz they are just stunning insects.

Females are usually more obliging than males - they have no urge to dash out and intercept potential territory-invaders; they don't feel any great desire to go wandering around looking for sexual encounters; and their principal role (one they generally undertake with admirable diligence) is to flutter around testing foodplants for suitability before laying eggs.

All of these and more makes female butterflies more elusive, yet easier to approach and observe.
