3 millionth visitor!

Post by Pete Eeles »

Today saw our 3 millionth unique visit to the website. That's quite an interest level! Thanks to everyone that makes this website the resource it is!

Cheers,

Pete - is the level of interest increasing? Has it been less time between 2 million and 3 million? just wondering - whatever the answer, it has to be a tribute to the quality of the site.

Definitely increasing interest, I'm pleased to say. To get just under 2000 visitors per day in the middle of winter is quite something!

Thanks Liz - perhaps you'd like to join the marketing department :)

Converting that interest into practical conservation is also a tricky business - although Gary and Lisa seem to be on top of that!

It's a reassuring statistic. Clearly, there ARE people out there who are sufficiently interested in butterflies to do whatever research is needed to direct them to this site.
