Identification and families

Post by Dave McCormick »

I am creating my website on butterflies and moths of the world and have some familys and subfamilies I need information on> Does anyone have any information on these subfamilies?

Syssphingiade - Subfamily of Saturniidae (Silk moths)
Cuculliinae - Subfamily of Noctuidae (owlet moths)
Libytheinae and Morphinae Subfamilies of Nymphalidae butterflies

does anyone have information on this family Heterobathmioidae (Kauri Moths)

Any help would be great.

Also I have a section that is there to identify types of butterflies and moths such as "Apollo's" "Swallowtails" "Browns and ringlets" "Birdwings" "Moon Moths" etc... If anyone has information on what "types" need identified and have any "set" images of species I could use that would help a lot.

I want set images of any: Hook-Tip moths, Brown Butterflies and Birdwings.

Also if anyone has information on micro moths or links to any that would be great also.

Thanks,

Dave
