BBC Wildlife Magazine This Month

..features a Painted Lady on the cover and has two articles of interest, one on the influx and the other on how 2009 is a better year for butterflies than 07 and 08.

Should be in most good newsagents.

BTW - the "Monarch" on p.49 is actually of a Viceroy.

I have a subscription...I quite like the magazine (although it tends to repeat itself a bit)...it's actually quite hard to find in newsagents..would suggest a BIG Wh Smiths or the like. Worth the subscription IMO, since most of us quite like that sort of thing, especially since I'm growing out of Q Magazine (which is very sad I know).

yeah looked today even on top shelf, lotto birds there, though not feathered type :D
