The Galleries

Post by Zonda »

Hey Pete, nice work on the galleries. Been meaning to ask, is it possible to delete a pic, and how, if so? :)
Cheers,,, Zonda.

Under any image that you can edit or delete (i.e. your own), there should be a "Moderate" option at the bottom of the list of items underneath the thumbnail.

Let me know how you get on!

Nice upgrade on the galleries...taking me a bit, but figuring everything out. Think its faster at loading the images than the older one was when you view them.

I was thinking of writing a beginner's guide, but figured you clever lot could work things out :)

At least this gallery has a multiple upload feature!

It's the business. Have the upload sizes been altered? Not that it worries me greatly, i've adapted to the present one now. :)

The current limitations are:

File size: 512,000 bytes (i.e. 0.5 MB).

Image size: 800 x 800

AND!!! Images will get resized on upload (although I'm not sure how good this is - for competitions you're probably best off resizing before you upload).

Cheers,

Pete, i'm fine with the present settings. Can't see a prob. I resize for uploads to you anyway, and keep the uploads in a separate folder named 'ukbutterflies'. It's not like the images i put on here are for huge print jobs or something. I don't bother keeping the attachment re-sizes that i post in the forums. :)
Cheers,,, Zonda.
