ID for caterpillars and one pale butterfly

I've not been able to identify these two caterpillars yet so any help would be much appreciated

the butterfly i think is a Meadow brown but i haven't seen one this pale before so i'm not certain. Been through the wars too :)

Hi,

the butterfly is indeed a worn Meadow Brown (female). No 2 is a Drinker moth larva. Not sure about no 1. Here is a website that has a good selection of moth larvae photographs at various stages of development.

I think the first caterpillar is white ermine possibly

My vote for caterpillar number one is one of the tiger moths, maybe jersey tiger.

I don't think that it's Jersey Tiger. I was wondering about Cream-spot Tiger. (it does look a bit woolly bearish)
I really would like a definitive answer to this one, as I had an identical larva in my garden. :D

I think Dave has it right: a White Ermine, with the reddish line down the middle of the back.
