Butterfly ID needed please :)

I only really joined this forum to ask what butterfly it was that I saw. Its been bugging me for awhile because I really have no idea and I can't seem to find it.
Unfortunately I don't have a picture but it was pretty simple looking only it was a grey colour, cobalt-y with two red spots, one on each wing at the bottom.
I saw it at the end of May, in the middle of Cardiff if that makes any difference.
I'm assuming it was a butterfly because it was out during the day and looked like one lol... Butterfly expert that I'm not...

Yeah it is It didn't have the red lines and only one spot per wing but I guess it could have been folded up?
Thanks for solving my moth mystery lol there was me hoping for some magical rare form of butterfly that only eats west facing leaves on a full moon...or something...
