More from the Pyrenees

Post by dragnil »

Hello again with a plea for help with identification.
These shots were taken in June this year at about 1500ft.
Sticking my neck out here, but am I safe with Clouded Yellow for the first one?
The second and third are of the same individual and the fourth appears, to me, to be the same (?) but more contrasty and bolder in colour. I got lost in the section for fritilllaries in the Collins guide - but was I even in the right section of the Book?
Thanks, as ever, for any help given.
Regards,
David

So I was in the right section of the book and can now see that the fourth is the male.
Thanks for your help.
