Greek (Corfu) Skipper

Post by Lee Hurrell »

Hi all

What are your thoughts on this Skipper from Corfu, taken on 28th July?

There are four possibilities as I understand: Grizzled, Oberthur's, Orbed Red Underwing and Sage. I thought at first it may be Oberthur's, but could it be a worn Sage Skipper?

I think you're right, Lee. Of the four you mention, Sage Skipper is easily the best fit. The = marking in S1b is what most makes me believe it is proto.
