When was the last Clouded Yellow year? Don't we all wish for another one!

I wish for just one Clouded Yellow butterfly Stevie. :lol: I am at the crease and have yet to get off the mark with this species.

2020 was pretty good around my local patch in Wiltshire. I had numerous sightings from July through to September.

Last year I only saw one! :(

Hi Stevieb,

You saw one more than me last year. Like Otep I would be very happy to see 1 Clouded Yellow, although it would be nice to see m & f.

Are you able to name the site(s) in Wiltshire where you have seen them?

Here's my best photo from July 2015. Quite literally at the base of the white cliffs of Dover. Just crossed the channel no doubt and filling up before moving up country.

Sarah if you live in Wiltshire you will know these sites.

Most were seen on Bewley Common, Lacock, where they where ovipositing, plus Beacon Hill, Heddington between Chippenham and Calne.
