A winter butterfly pupa.

Post by Allan.W. »

A workmates wife sent me a shot taken on the 11th January, taken on the outside of a patio door ,in mid-Kent . To me it looks like a fresh butterfly pupa of some description ,not yet hardened off....................Red Admiral ??................Any thoughts ? please.
