Faded Northern Brown Argus?

Post by Stevie Blunder »

Poring over my photos from a few years back. Can I please have confirmation whether this is a faded Northern Brown Argus? This was taken July 22nd 2017 at Arnside Knott Cumbria. Many thanks in advance.

I would say so, Stevie. The near absence of forewing lunules as well as the obvious cell spot suggests salmacis.
