Eryngium alpinum and insects.

Regrettably very few Butterflies in my garden this year but plenty of other interesting insects on the Eryngium bourgatii, Mediterranean sea holly
or
Eryngium alpinum, Alpine eryngo, not sure which species , a super plant that attracts so many different wasps ,hoverflies and a great many others insects, strangely butterflies seem to ignore these plants.
I hope they are of some interest.
