They both have those steely blue/grey eyes. However you can sex them since the males have noticeably larger eyes, useful when looking for a female to have his wicked way with!

Here is what seems to be a run of the mill Grizzled Skipper photo. However, it isn't. It is the first that I have ever (knowingly) seen in my life ! To say I was delighted to see it is an understatement. For the record, I am now in my second season. My debut season in 2020 had travel restrictions during the Grizzled Skipper flying time.
