What's this please? I've looked on the internet but couldn't see anything exactly like it.

Hello Brecon 1,
Did you find the larva in the UK ,and recently ,and what sort of habitat ………………. possibly moorland ?

Hello. Yes. Found it walking across the grass in our garden in the Brecon beacons national park. I've looked up the white Ermine and that looks like a good match. Thank you

I found one crossing a path when I was in Orkney last month. It is now a somewhat ugly pupa (but I'm sure his mummy loved him).

White Ermine - agree.
