Hi all,
I discovered a couple of days ago, after I tried to send a notification that the website had been updated and most of the emails sent failed, that my ISP has been blacklisted as a "provider of SPAM"
This means that any private messages, or notifications of posts being replied to, are currently failing. This affects the following providers (at least). My ISP is looking into this, but we're in the hands of whoever decides is a source of SPAM. Unfortunately, this also means that I can't personally send emails from pete@ukbutterflies.co.uk either. So apologies if you've not received a response to any emails over the last couple of days.

You can add btopenworld.com to that list.
I spent ages the other day trying to get my board preferences right when I noticed I had stopped recieving e-mail notifications.
Glad to know it wasn't my fault!
I don't think I missed much though, as I enter the site via "View New Posts"

Re: Email Failures
Yeah - I use that all the time myself, and isn't a bad option to choose when seeing what's been going on in the forums!
For everyone else, go to the board index and you should see a "View new posts" option.
Thanks Roger.
Cheers,

Re: Email Failures
Pete
I have managed to get mine sorted.
I went onto my BTYahoo home page, logged in, and went to the My Mail section.
There is a folder there called BULK. In it are hundreds of items of SPAM that BTYahoo have chosen not to send me.
In there, amongst the offers of V1agra, Nigerian princes wanting me to look after £100,000,000 for a while, and offers from nice people who seem to know I have a small willy (and can help!), there were mails from pete@ukbutterflies.co.uk.
I opened one, checked the "This is not SPAM" box, and presto - I have an Inbox full of your mails.
This may help some people.
Roger
p.s. Don't open any of the others, unless, of course, you actually want a bigger willy.
