Flexi-angle screens

Post by Jack Harrison »

As you know, I am a great fan of flexi-angle screens. Attached (my garden 11th July) was taken at full stretch and camera held high above my head. It would have been impossible without a vari-angle screen.

Hi Jack,

Very nice. I am considering a flexi-screen (Sony A350). What was the rest of your setup?

Antonym.

Canon S3 with +2 achromatic supplementary. If you do want to use a supplementary, go for a two-element achromatic and not a single element lens. I got unsatisfactory results when using a simple lens.

You're getting some nice shots with that setup Jack. :)
Incidently, if you see another of those close up lenses going on ebay, I'd appreciate an email or PM. The current owner of my old S3 would probably enjoy using one.
