The Burren area

Post by markhows »

I am going to the Burren towards the end of May and will be on the lookout for the following species.

Marsh Fritilary
Dingy skipper
Small Copper
Common Blue

Does anyone have any good sites for any of them, feel free to PM if appropriate

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark - I can only vouch for the limestone pavements in the area of Boston (near Lough Bunny) for Dingy Skipper ssp. baynesi.

Cheers,

- Pete
