Just a Hi

Post by Oy »

Hi all

I don't see an intros section so here's a "Hi" from me :)

I'm looking forward to learning more about these flutteryby thingies I'm so fond of photographing!

A couple of recent shots - common stuff I'm afraid.

Hi Oy!

So you see - it's a friendly bunch of folk here! I was going to ask about the caterpillars but you already answered. I'm new to mothing and this is a butterfly site but you will find Pete and the guys most helpful on all subjects around the butterfly arena.

Welcome!

Dormouse

Ps: So where am I to look for cinnabar caterpillars?

On yellow Ragwort and sometimes Sorel. If you were in the North West I could point you at thousands!

Thanks for the welcome :)

Yippee - loads of yellow ragwort in and around my garden - will get looking tomorrow! I've never seen the moth, let alone it's caterpillars.
