ID please

Post by Wiluf »

Hello All
Need a little help in ID this.
Am new at all this having recently added photographing insects, birds and animals to my retirement list of hobbies. So, your help will certainly be appreciated.
Many thanks

Wilf

Hi Wilfred,
Thanks for posting the photo.
This photo is possibly of a female Common Blue.
Without entering into too many details initially, you may be interested to know that in the "blue butterfly" family, the females of many species are in fact brown!!
Welcome to the BF Learning curve, everyone here will help smooth it out for you.

Cheers, Chris

Looks as though you have a similar retirement plan to my own. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do :)
