ID Mountain Cat.

Post by LancsRover »

Hi All, I came across 3 or 4 of these larvae on top of Hartsop Dodd(Lakeland Fell) at around 2,000 feet, whilst looking for Mountain Ringlet, on 27th June 2015, can anyone ID please.
They were only about an inch long, on the path and in the grass.

Russ

Don't know about caterpillars, Russ, but breath-taking scenery. :D
A bit drier where I am.
