Got down to Bentley Wood earlier today.

Quite a few Pearl-bordered Fritillary about as well as Brimstone, Speckled Wood, Holly Blue, Orange Tip, Peacock and Green Veined White. Pic of a PBF below.

Hi All I was at Great Bookham Common on Saturday for a couple of hours. Off the pathways it was quite saturated and boggy. Saw a couple of Orange Tips yesterday at Horsenden Hill also saw one at Great Bookham Common on Saturday. Managed to grab a couple of shots yesterday.

Hi Lee

Denbies Hillside is down near Dorking.

I also saw this yesteday at DH. I looked it up but couldn't find pic of the underside. I believe it is a Silver-Ground Carpet Moth. Anyone, please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi All

I'm new to UK butterflies & relatively new to Butterflies! Great site.

Went up to Horsenden Hill, West London this evening on the way home from work. Not much activity. Some Meadow Browns, Large Whites, a Small Copper and a couple of Common Blues. Some pics below.
