Today at Aston Rowant lots of Chalk Hill blues and Small Skippers. Only a few Silver -Spotted Skippers. Sezar

Today at Aston Rowant Bold Hill, lots of small skippers and marbled white. Dark green fritillary counted aprox. 25-27. First time I have seen so many at this site. Cheers Sezar

To day at Denham Country Park, Orange Tips both male and female, speckled Wood, Brimstone, Peacock, lots of green veined white. Ladybirds were also present. Cheers Sezar

Yesterday at Langley Park three Speckled Wood, one was very fresh looking. The comma late afternoon at home was also very fresh looking. Cheers Sezar

Butterflies
Yesterday at Aston Rowant Bald Hill, two tatty Meadow browns, no other butterflies around. But Chiltern Gentians are just starting to come into flower.

Thanks for the compliment David and Pauline. We now have several that are regularly flying above Ickenham. Lots are flying over M40 specially around Stokenchurch, which is 23 miles from here. Sezar

Today at home lots of small tortoiseshell, peacocks, small large whites, few green veined whites and meadow brown. The red kite was flying law all afternoon looking for food. yesterday at Bold Hill Aston Rowant, Skippers plenty, silver spotted small, Essex and several large skippers. Also second brood common blue. Still plenty of Chalkhill blues. Cheers Sezar

This specimen was at a recent visit to Aston Rowant, which I discovered this evening. Marks on both wings? Any idea what caused this please. Cheers Sezar

To day at Aston Rowant Chalkhill Blues on hill facing M40. Also plenty Marbled Whites, Small Skipper, Small tortoiseshell, large white. No Silver Spotted Skippers were seen. Sezar

On Friday last at Bold Hill, Marbled White(100+), Small and Large Skippers 30+, Dark Green Fritillary (30) this specimen appears to have pale markings. Cheers Sezar
