I thought that I had better show some photos from Nefyn, nothing exciting just a Small Tortoiseshell, a Large Skipper and a Meadow Brown, these were taken to-day 30th June with my Kodak EasyshareP712.

I've change this photo of a Meadow Brown to another Meadow Brown which I think is a little more interesting, my camera is a Kodak Easyshare P712.

Just viewed the competition entries for the first time, it seems that some of them are cropped too much. I like the ones that are taken a little further back with a bit of flower or leaf. In a competition the picture should be pleasing to look at, and they are all very nice photos. I don't think an ...

A Large Skipper from Nefyn- North Wales

Nefyn has a fantastic golf course but not just for golf, its a bit wild in parts and what did I see to-day but a Large Skipper, Common Blues and of course Speckled Woods. I was looking for a Gate Keeper I saw one last year when I was playing golf and I cannot remember where, there's always tomorrow!...

Hello, Having studied the sighting page there doesn't seem to be anyone reporting from the Lleyn. If I start to show that we do indeed have a nice selection of Butterflies maybe others will follow.
