After two days of rain the sun came shining through this afternoon and within minutes there were Small Whites, a Green veined White and this Holly Blue in my garden

Early finish at work, so took the dog out and we found our first Green-veined White of the year:

Sunny and fairly warm here in Ashford,Kent today : A Holly Blue spent the afternoon flitting around in my garden ( my first of the year ) and this morning I saw a Speckled Wood, an Orange Tip and six Small Whites while walking the dog.

Sunny Folkestone today at The Warren and I saw a Speckled Wood, four Small Tortoiseshells, eight Small Whites, a Peacock and three male Orange Tips. Also a Grey Seal close to the shore.

Glorious weather again down here in Kent which brought out a few butterflies on my afternoon walk with the dog : 4 Small Tortoiseshells, 6 Small Whites, a Comma and three Peacocks speeding across the field ( looking very much like a female being courted by two hopefuls ).

It's T-Shirt weather down here in Ashford,Kent and on a short walk with my dog I saw two Peacocks, a Comma, a Small Tortoiseshell and my first Small White of the year. It's reminding me of 2011's Spring Heat-Wave!
