Hermits are first species expected to extinct in CZE in the next decade(s). It seems to be pretty much inevitable right now, as they need large biotopes and high population density. They didn't even survive in Slovakia.

What are the biggest threats? How about (illegal) aforrestation, gradual ingrowth of not grazed/mowed meado...

OT: you Brits should look round for Bath Whites this year. Since they're recently surprisingly numerous in Central Europe, especially at abandoned mining sites and various sandy biotopes, there might be migrants. I hope it might be a good tip for a person living in the southern coastal area.

No. It's uncommon. Note that the spots we're talking about are very mild even on a fresh female. Semiarguses are greatly variable here, though. At least females.
