New Species

Hi all, I was just wondering are there any species of butterfly that are not currently found in Britain, that look set to arrive here in the near future? for whatever reason, climate change etc.

I saw a Ringlet today never seen one before, I take by the look of distribution maps this is unusual? Why are they not normally found in NW England when they are found in most areas all around the NW?

Well I went through them and all I can see are Swallowtail, Brimstone, Orange Tip, Peacock, Comma, Wall, Grayling, Gatekeeper and Ringlet all the others just come up with the grid letters and the red dots for sites. I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 and I have Version 6 update 1 of Java if thats what...

Distribution Maps

Hi, I was looking through some of the distribution Maps on the main site and most of them I can't see, it just comes up with the grid letters and the red dots for sites, I folled the help page on this but everything is as it should be, so can anyone say what the problem is?
