Wonder whatvthis dude is, found west of Chichester UK, Green version of Elephant Hawk Moth? The eye spots dont seem to match any photos ive looked at.

Hi Michelle,
Great find ! That's an Elephant hawk moth caterpillar in its very unusual green form ,I,m envious never seen one like that ,the usual form
is a muddy brown job ,the moth is very large and colourful . Once again nice find .

And they feed on Rosebay Willow Herb not carpet :D .
