bEE id please.

Hello all,
Wonder if anyone out there could ID these Bee's for me please ? I found them on the North Downs at Crundale (Kent ) early evening ,they were clustered around grass heads ,I reckon I saw about 30-40 groups of these bee,s with up to thirty on a single grass head ………. never seen them before.

I've seen similar bees on the north downs near box hill and Dorking. I'll have a look through my photos to see if I managed to get a name on them when I'm home this evening. Alternatively if you're on Facebook you could try posting on one of the Bee groups on there.

Thanks for the help Gents ! Charles I reckon that you,re spot on with (Lasioglossum Calceatum ) certainly looks like my bees,
described as Common and widespread ,but I must say I,ve never seen any before ! Thanks again All !
