More confusion

Can any one help please with the id of this butterfly please. To me it looks a bit like a skipper but who knows which if it is. Thank you for any help

It is indeed a skipper, Mike, a very worn male Large one, characteristically poised on the tip of a plant ready to chase anything that moves.

Thank you for your help I spend a lot of time in my local woods during summer and now and again I see something that confuses me. Thank you again for your help
