Re: Amusing old PE photo
Well, that's cleared up that one. I had no idea who was in the photo.
I might well visit Fermyn and/or Knepp next summer. I know of course about the public access to Fermyn and the walking that is involved (I'm rather slow these days!) But I'm unfamiliar with Knepp. What are the access arrangements and how much physical effort would be involved?
OS map would be helpful eg from http://www.streetmap.co.uk/
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jack. Don't worry about Knepp access - you'll be fine. I have the option of driving you around in there, so no long walks and no hills. Plans nearer the time.
Hi David. Almost! That looks like my first ever camera; the Lumix FZ7 (RIP 2007- 2009). A couple of months later I bought my second; the FZ38. This is the one I'm still using today. I'll use it until it finally gives up the ghost, as it's served me well.

Thanks Neil.
I’ll aim to get my annual “Sussex Fix” (apart of course from the BC Sussex Branch newsletters – the best of the many branches to which I belong) and beginning of May and probably a second "Fix" end Jun/early July depending on the progress of the season.
