On my website I am creating, I am putting a section abou the butterflies in the U.K. as I live in U.K. What buttefly species are becomming more common since last year and what was the commenest butterfly species last year?

Also, has there been any butterflies that have been spotted that should not have been in U.K. ever? Just like to know.

Reguarding this section, what should I add on U.K. butterflies? Any advice would help.

"What buttefly species are becomming more common since last year"
I don't believe that year-on-year records are considered meaningful, since weather can play a large part in any given species' fortunes. Longer-term trends are normally recorded, as shown in the Millenium Atlas.

Don't know. Probably a widespread species such as Meadow Brown.

"has there been any butterflies that have been spotted that should not have been in U.K. ever?"
Yes - lots. They're normally escapees from butterfly farms or home-bred stock.
