Copper species Corfu

I shot this in may ,Avlaki Corfu. any ideas , slightly larger than a small copper. upper wings as far as i could see where all orange

I'm feeling intrepid and gonna dip my toe in the world of European butterfly identification: Grecian Copper Lycaena ottoman?

Grecian Copper for sure. The lack of black edges to the orange submarginal band is conclusive.

Lucky you. I was in Corfu the last week in June/first week in July and didn't manage to see one despite looking all over!
