I imaged these in my garden a few days ago.

Can anyone confirm my tentative ID's?

Mazarine Blue for sure in the first image, but the latter two have the look of Common Blue to me.

Whereabouts do you live, David (1952, not M)?

These were taken in my garden in Normandy. I have a large patch of marjoram which the butterflies love.

Marjoram is a great nectar source but is mainly used by the smaller butterflies - Gatekeepers in particular love it. Because on the whole they do not fly so far, if the breeding grounds are not nearby they may struggle to find their way to the marjoram.
