i was very pleased with these Orange Tip pics. they were very settled on Cuckoo Flower in a meadow at Grafham Water.

as far as i could tell it was the male above & the female dangling with her legs in the air

That doesn't surprise me, Charles, although I have seen instances where it's the other way round - e.g. Essex Skippers!
