Sorry for being slightly off-topic with this moth ID, but I've noticed that previous queries regarding moths have been answered.

Found the moth below in the kitchen on Sunday. My money is on it being an Angle Shades, but the wing shape is slightly different from pictures I've seen in books, the body seems longer, and at rest it held it's wings in such a way that my first thought was that it was a Thorn of some type.

Can anyone confirm an Angle Shades, or give the correct ID. Thanks.

Looks like an angle shades, but I have not seen the angle shades fold wings up like that. But I am almost certian its an angle shades.

It's Angle Shades, this is the thing that emerged from the brown chrysalis that I spoke about two threads ago.

Very common and attractive moth I frequently see in my garden in both larval and imagines forms.

The one in the top picture I would say has recently emerged from the pupa and is still in the process of preparing its wings for flight.
