Butterflies of the West Midlands

Post by Willrow »

This new addition to the regional butterfly guides will be of much interest to those living in the counties that comprise the West Midlands, as well as enthusiasts visiting the area. The five authors involved have included 41 species and have also included 25 'butterfly-walks' choosen from throughout the region. There are also tips on butterfly gardening and photography.

I have kept this account short, quite simply because I have not yet read the book, I believe the book is due on sale from April, it's published by NatureBureau and costs £18.95.

Hope this short introduction to this new title will stimulate further interest

Best Wishes,

Bill :D

I have been looking forward to this book ever since I first heard about it some time back. Although I am a member of Warwickshire BC, I have been known to go across the border occasionally

There is also a £5 discount offer for pre-orders placed before April 1st.

I ordered mine in November and paid £17.95 which the Nature Bureau took from me at the time. Think I might stick to Amazon in future!

I'd contact them about this - since you've obviously ordered before 1st April 2016!

Cheers,

Apparently the £13.95 offer doesn't include postage and packing of £4 so £17.95 that I paid is correct. Purchases after 01 April will cost £22.95 including postage and packing.

Amazon doesn't appear to have the title listed at present, if and when they do it will be interesting to see if Nature Bureau allow them to discount it, however, Amazon reach a huge potential market, perhaps Nature Bureau want to cash-in on the 'must-have market'...and when it comes to books, I admit I'm a 'must-haver' I can resist anything - bar temptation!!!
