Red admiral in Suffolk

My parents report a red admiral in their garden in Woodbridge, Suffolk, today (23rd Jan), sunning in a hotspot by a wooden fence, despite the low ambient temperature.
The two red admirals below were flying in Switzerland on Sat. 20th Jan, but cold weather has now swept the continent and snow fell heavily today. Now's the time to dust off those skis...
