Testing new lens

No butterflies here!

But... Testing my new Nikon 70-200mm today on a day so dull I wouldn't have bothered with my other lenses.

280mm - 1/80" at F4 and ISO400 - handheld. Cropped and resized but no sharpening.

And this is a bird I haven't seen on Pennington Flash before!!! Possibly an escapee from Martin Mere?

Superb shots Oy! I love the Chaffinch - a nice sharp eye!

I think this has encouraged me to hone my photography skills over the winter :)
