What are the views on this introduced colony in terms of whether they are "countable?" I know it's each to their own but just wondered if the view was they'd been there long enough?
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "countable"! Sounds like they are what they are - an introduction and they, and their offspring, always will be. There are plenty of other introductions that folks consider "genuine" - and this includes the Black Hairstreak at Monk's Wood in Cambridgeshire, all Large Blue colonies, various Heath Fritillary colonies etc. etc.
Cheers,

The Purple Emperors at Fermyn Woods are an introduction and they are one of the most visited / famous butterfly colonies in the country.
